Missy here!!  Just returned from a fabulous roadtrip up to the Top 'O the Mitten and back (Michigan, that is).....found a GREAT store in Mackinaw City.....Down Home Up North....A woman after our own heart, the owner of the store has bunches of way cool, repurposed stuff.....some great vintage inspired stuff too....LOVE, LOVE, LOVED those repro state glasses....(check out the stool made from vintage water ski's)....check out her stuff at www.downhomeupnorth.com ....and DEFINATELY check it out if you ever wander that far north....FAB-U-LOUS!!!!.....

Okay, so here's a little sneak peek at that project....It was a book....about Happiness....It's still a book, but now it looks a little different....It's filled with Scriptures, memories, and advice to take with him on his journey....I hope it still represents Happiness....I hope Spencer likes it....I think he will....If you think you might like to learn more about making one like this, let us know.....we're thinking about having a class....

One of the cupcake kids is graduating from HS in a couple of days.....time sure does fly!!!....seems like he just started kindergarten....I'm workin' on a gift for him that he can hopefully keep forever....maybe use it to reflect on his youth and even cause him to contemplate on his future (more on that later, though).....if he were a girl he'd be sporting one of our fabulous custom scrabble tile necklaces....maybe with his old school logo, or his NEW school logo, or maybe with some random word that describes his growth over the past 18 years or something that he aspires to be some day....can't wait to see what that is.....in the meantime, we can whip up something to inspire your grad, or mom, or sister, or friend, or....well, anyone you want to inspire....ahhhh.....life.!!!
