Yay!!! The Cupcake Queens have a blog!!! We can't wait to give you a regular glimpse into our bakery, our makery, and ....well, our lives!!! We are four women - all married to our best friends (The Sugar Daddies)....all mom's (with 13 kids between us from age 2 - 20)....and all of us have a constant hankering to create - both in the kitchen and the studio....and we hope to wow you with our new creations from both venues....

Meet Katrina! Katrina is our 'detail' cupcake....always there to keep us on task and make sure that every i is dotted and every t is crossed.....she's also a true scavenger - always finding cool stuff at a rock bottom price....Katrina and Missy met when she was teaching Missy's son, Max, in 1st grade....the friendship began at a parent/teacher conference when Missy spotted Katrina's purse - made from an old license plate....the rest is history.....Katrina is also a baker extrordinaire....her attention to detail allows her to tweak a cupcake recipe right down to the last tasty ingredient.....her husband, Dale, is a faithful cupcake fan - always willing to get up at the break of dawn to be our 'cupcake carrier' - toting our keepsakes to craftshows and making sure our booth is 'legit'....
Meet Jenn! Jenn is a blast!! She became a cupcake in a round about way and are we EVER glad she did!! She brings a bunch of BLING to our table....where Jenn is, rhinestones are!! We love the way she decks out our goodies with just the flash they need....Jenn bakes a mean (in a GOOD way) cupcake too!!! Known by some for her Mountain Dew cupcakes....she's not afraid to try anything!!! AND her handy husband not only helps us with the nuts and bolts of some projects, but also shares his pool table with her so she can spread out her many on-going projects....
Meet Caryn!! Creative Caryn that is!! Caryn is able to pick up a paintbrush and create art that has been known to bring a tear to the eye....her designs, both with brush and on the web, are amazing.....She brings a designers eye to our product line and is always looking for new ideas to paint and draw.....many of our items feature Caryn's original artwork....She can take something from the scrap heap and make it a masterpiece with her style and ability....she's even been known to design a tattoo or two....Caryn's husband is the patient Sugar Daddy who doesn't mind coming home to a cupcake convention at his kitchen table on many a Monday afternoon....
Meet Missy!! Our most outrageous cupcake - You'll find her around town digging her hands in to hard work where no one else wants to. Her willingness to get her hands (and feet) dirty by experimenting with new mediums, trying new ways of doing things, and keeping things real, honest and simple are a breath of fresh air. If Missy were a piece of art she would be made up of brightly colored buttons, sprinkles and all things vintage and eclectic. She's all about the big picture and is a total woman of action. Our Missy never met a piece of junk she could not be inspired by - or find reason to laugh about. Missy's Sugar Daddy brings brutal honesty to the table and, like her, is never afraid to blurt out the obvious ridiculousness of a new project....
